The South Putnam boys' tennis team dominated visiting Linton-Stockton on Thursday, winning each match in straight sets in the 5-0 sweep of the Miners.
No. 1 singles, Tyler Long, No. 3 singles, Josh Stewart, and No. 2 doubles, Zane Crosby and Mason Sollman, all won 6-0, 6-0.

No. 1 doubles, Trey Moore and Jake Carmichael, won 6-1, 6-0.

Collin Berry had the most difficult match, winning 7-5, 7-5, but he gutted out his second win in as many nights.

"I was extremely pleased with our effort this evening," South Putnam coach Zach Love said. "I feel like tonight's success is really something that we needed and that we can build on as we move closer to sectionals. Top to bottom, our effort and energy was at its highest level it's been all season long."

South Putnam's next match is Monday at sectional-opponent South Vermillion, beginning at 5 p.m. The sectional draw is Monday at 6 p.m.
