Jazz at The Duck Thursday to feature Hopkins & Miller duo

Robin Hopkins and Kathleen Miller will be featured Thursday in the Jazz at The Duck series at The Inn at DePauw. The free show begins at 8:30 p.m.

Greencastle native Robin Hopkins will perform at Jazz at The Duck on Thursday, Oct. 3.

The free performance is set for 8:30-10:30 p.m. at The Inn at DePauw's Fluttering Duck. It is open to the public.

Hopkins, who plays plectrum banjo, and vocalist partner Kathleen Miller perform music that was written primarily during the first half of the 20th century, traditional jazz, Broadway music, swing tunes, etc. are included in their extensive concert repertoire.

Their virtuoso musical talent, sincerity and contagious enthusiasm come together as Hopkins & Miller present uplifting renditions from the Great American songbook in their own special way.
