Cloverdale Middle School sweeps South Putnam

CLOVERDALE -- The Cloverdale seventh and eighth grade volleyball teams both beat visiting South Putnam on Monday. The seventh-graders won 25-14, 25-14, 15-4 and the eighth-graders won 25-13, 25-9.

The seventh-grade Clovers were led by Mackenzie Westell with 11 points and six assists, Hannah Rady with seven points and seven assists, Tori Combs with four points and seven kills, Tori Combs with four points and seven kills, Kaylyn Couch with four points, Jazmen Freeman with three points, Morgan Allen with two points and two kills, Kayla Perdue with two points and one kill and Jaylen Hughbanks with two kills.

The eighth-grader Clovers were led at the service line by Justyce Monnett with 15 points and Kiley Shedron with 13 points. Reagan Ladd had one kill.

The Clovers played Eminence on Tuesday.
