Mable L. Neese

Mable L. Neese, 64, Reelsville, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 at the St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on Oct. 18, 1948 at Martinsville, Ind. and was the daughter of the late Samuel Ernest and Lorean Joy (Fox) Gray.

She was married to Richard Neese on June 19, 1968 and he survives.

She is also survived by her children, Shelly Boler and husband Kenny, Cloverdale, Christopher Neese and wife Michelle, Greencastle; her sisters, Rebecca Smith, Kentucky, and Raelene Bond, Missouri; her brother, Howard Gray, Cloverdale; and her grandchildren, Brandy Abernathy, Tiffany Abernathy, Christian Sellers, Kylee Johnson, Gavin McRoberts and Zane Neese and her great-granddaughter, Destinie Abernathy.

She had been a cook in several local restaurants and had been a member of the Greencastle Ladies of the Moose.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 2 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 8 from noon until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Gray and her granddaughter, Paula Boler.
