City Police

A pair of recent warrant arrests were reported by Greencastle City Police officers.

-- At 12:47 a.m. Friday, Vivian Stahl, 34, Greencastle, was arrested at her Avenue C residence by Reserve Officer Jeremiah Jackson.

Lodged in the Putnam County Jail, Stahl was picked up on a Putnam County warrant on a second petition to revoke probation.

-- At 9:42 p.m. Thursday, Leviticus Nathaniel Brown, 22, Greencastle, was arrested at Buffalo Wild Wings on Indianapolis Road by Officer Matt Huffman.

Picked up on a Putnam County warrant for failure to appear, Brown was lodged in the Putnam County Jail.

A minor accident on the east side of the Putnam County Courthouse was investigated Thursday afternoon by GPD Officer Albert Epple.

A pair of backing pickup trucks collided on Indiana Street, south of Franklin Street, resulting in an estimated $1,000-$2,500 damage.

Paul McCrea, 79, Cloverdale, was backing a 2000 Chevrolet S-10 as Mason Ashby, 62, Greencastle, was backing a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado when the vehicles collided, at 12:15 p.m. Epple reported.

One speeding citation was issued early Thursday by Officer Nick Eastham.

-- At 1:32 a.m., Allen Otte, 63, New Richmond, Ohio, was ticketed for 51 mph in a 30-mph zone on Bloomington Street, south of Martinsville Street.
