Fiesta Salon takes part in Clip for the Cure

Fiesta Salon Greencastle will join Regis Corporation salons nationwide to take part in the annual Clip for the Cure event on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Every year Fiesta Salon, located at 39 Putnam Plaza, joins forces with its parent company for the event. It is an opportunity for the staff, guests and friend to join the 7,000 Regis corporate salons and more than 50,000 stylists across the country to raise money for breast cancer research.

On Oct. 19, 10 percent of proceeds from every haircut will be donated to the Regis Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, which supports early diagnosis, prevention, treatment and research to find a cure.

Since Sunday, Sept. 1, the salon has also offered other opportunities to raise money for the cause, including selling breast cancer awareness products such as $2 rings and $12 pink bracelets, as well as other limited-edition pink products.

Fiesta is also accepting guest and business donations to the foundation. These efforts run through Thursday, Oct. 31.
