Singers sought for Covered Bridge Chorus

Like to sing but not sure you are ready to join one of the local singing groups?

Perhaps then the Covered Bridge Barbershop Chorus is for you.

Interested singers are invited to the chorus's guest night on Monday, Oct. 14, beginning at 7 p.m. at Greencastle Middle School.

The chorus will be learning some seasonal music for the holidays and would like to add new voices. By starting with the group now, those new voices can be ready to sing on the holiday shows set for Dec. 2 and Dec. 7.

Each Monday between now and those scheduled shows the group will begin rehearsals by working on holiday music for about 45 minutes.

The commitment will be only 45 minutes once a week between now and Dec. 2.
