Washington problem in a nutshell

To the Editor:

Husband finds his wife's been running up expenditures on her charge cards. The bills amount to more than his income.

He confiscates her charge cards. As a result, she tells him she is no longer going to cook his meals and wash his clothes.

She tells him to take out a loan to pay off her charges and to give her back her charge cards, or he will have to cook his own meals and wash his own clothes.

The kids think their father is a "mean old man" because he won't let their mother buy what she wants.

All of her relatives put the blame on the Dad.
