Saturday, November 2, 2013

On Sunday, Nov. 3, DePauw University graduate Ben Solomon, a photographer/video-grapher/multimedia journalist, will speak at 7 p.m. in Watson Forum of the DePauw Center for Contemporary Media.

It is free and open to the public.

After working in the Middle East, Africa and Russia, Solomon's latest project has him involved with a team of journalists from The New York Times to produce "The Russia Left Behind."

In addition to showing his work, Solomon will talk about the goals on international reporting, the need for empathy toward others and "how to do this in a changing and constantly saturating media landscape."
