North Putnam youth basketball announces signups

The North Putnam Youth Basketball league will have signups for kindergarten-sixth grade boys and girls at North Putnam Middle School on Saturday, Nov. 9.

The registration fee is $45 per player. Each childe is encouraged to bring gym shoes, shorts and a basketball for evaluation.

Signup times will be:

* 9 a.m. -- fifth- and sixth-grade girls

* 9:45 a.m. -- fifth- and sixth-grade boys

* 10:30 a.m. -- third- and fourth-grade girls

* 11:15 a.m. -- third- and fourth-grade boys

* Noon -- kindergarten-second-grade girls

* 12:45 p.m. -- kindergarten-second-grade boys

An alternative registration date is Monday, Nov. 11 from 6-8 p.m. at the middle school commons area for all ages for those who are unable to attend on Nov. 9.

No late signups will be allowed after Nov. 11.
