Donald Allen Matthews

Donald Allen Matthews, 47, of Reelsville, passed away on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013.

Donald served his country in the U.S. Army during Desert Storm and Desert Shield.

He was a sheet metal worker and a journeyman welder and worked in facility maintenance for TOA USA in Mooresville. He was a member of V.F.W. and Masonic Lodge.

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Matthews.

He is survived by his fiancée, Sharon Woods, son Shane Matthews, mother Carole Cummins Matthews, brothers David and Dana Mathews, sister Melanie (Bryan) Bromstrup; grandmother Norma Cummins; stepfather, Gene Gooch, six aunts, three uncles and several cousins.

Funeral service will be held Monday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m. in Conkle Funeral Home Speedway Chapel with visitation from 3 p.m. until service time.
