Public Information Forum on health reform from rural health perspective set Dec. 12

Sunday, December 1, 2013

The Affordable Care Act affects the entire health care industry, or one-fifth of our nation's economy, and it will alter how every individual accesses, purchases and utilizes health care.

With such changes come many questions. To help add clarity to the issues at hand, Putnam County Hospital, the Putnam County Board of Health, Purdue Extension Office and the Banner Graphic will be holding a public information forum to discuss health reform and how it affects rural communities such as Putnam County.

The event will be staged on Thursday, Dec. 12 from 6-8 p.m. at the Putnam County 4-H Fairgrounds.

Greencastle Mayor Sue Murray will be moderating the event, alongside a panel of knowledgeable community members with expertise in the areas of concern.

No RSVP is necessary.
