At 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Chris Lee Mitchell, 32, Greencastle, was arrested for violation of home detention.

* At 7:52 a.m. on Wednesday, Jeremy A. Snyder, 23, Lafayette, was southbound on U.S. 231 just south of County Road 100 West in a 2004 Dodge Durango.

Snyder told Sgt. Jon Chadd he lost control of his vehicle rounding a corner on the slick, wet roadway and struck a guardrail on the west side of before coming to a stop.

Damage was estimated at $2,501-$5,000.

* At 8:03 a.m. Brent D. Payne, 25, Cloverdale, was traveling on County Road 125 South in a 2002 Nissan Maxima.

Payne told Deputy Adam Hull that due to fog and the wet road he approached a curve faster than he thought. He began to slide, then overcorrected and ran off the road, hitting a speed limit sign.

Damage was estimated at $2,501-$5,000.

* At 2:12 a.m. on Thursday, Daniel H. Bullerdick, 31, Plainfield, was northbound on County Road 725 East in a 2007 Ford F150 when he left the east side of the road and hit a utility pole.

Bullerdick told Deputy T.J. Smith that his tire went off the side of the road and he could not steer it back.

Damage was estimated at $10,001-$25,000.
