City Park Department looking for Legos to augment supply of building blocks

Thursday, December 12, 2013

The Greencastle Parks and Recreation, focusing on indoor activities now that winter weather has arrived, is making its annual plea for any extra Legos that local residents may have in closets, basements and bottom drawers.

The Park Department winter Lego building sessions loom in January and February so the more blocks the merrier for the youngsters who participate.

Anyone who has a bucket, box or container of Legos, Mega Blocks or any other building blocks gathering dust is asked to consider donating them to the Park Department, Director Rod Weinschenk urged.

Persons may call 653-3395 for more information.
