Donald Lee Williamson, 85, Mt. Meridian, passed away on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013.

He was born May 2, 1928 in Hendricks County, and was the son of the late Clarel Alta and Mabel Claire (Brown) Williamson.

He retired in 1998 as supervisor of the Building Department for Ameritech at Indianapolis after 21 years of service.

He was a 1946 Fillmore High School graduate and a U.S. Army veteran during Korea.

He was married to Benita Lee (Hawk) Williamson on June 6, 1987, and she survives.

He is also survived by his children, Dan Williamson and wife Debbie, Gary Williamson and wife Virginia and Terry Williamson and wife Vicki; his stepchildren, Lisa Rene' Richards and Michael Gene Davis and wife Marife; two granddaughters; three grandsons; five stepgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Helen Kesler, Ruth O'Rear and Esther Ann Ridgway; and his brothers, Kenneth Williamson, Earl Edgar Williamson and Morris Allen Williamson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Stilesville Cemetery.
