Jonathan Hughes

Jonathan Hughes, 57, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013.

Born May 4, 1956 in Greencastle, he was the son of Duffy and Almeda Hughes and was a 1975 graduate of Greencastle High School. He married Rhonda L. (Branham) Hughes on June 9, 2002 and she survives.

Jonathan worked at IAC in Greencastle for 18 years and had retired from the Indiana National Guard.

He is survived by his wife Rhonda; children Ashley (Michael) Hughes, Allie (Johnny) Hughes, Vashti Monnett, Brad (Amanda) Cormican and Lisa (Dave) Cormican Titus; two sisters, Carolyn McCloud and Felicia Jones; a brother, Michael Hughes; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 23 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Interment with military honors will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22 at the funeral home.
