Nancy J. Skala

Nancy J. Skala, 76, Coatesville, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014.

Born September 14, 1937 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Bennie and Irene Baxter Steagall.

She married Frank Skala on Nov. 26, 1988.

A graduate of Indiana University, she worked 30 years as a CPA for Benton Icon Knox in Libertyville, Ill.

Nancy loved to read, listen to classical music and play the piano. She was also involved in her Heritage Lake community as a volunteer.

Survivors include her husband Frank, son Bennie Ferguson, daughter Cynthia Robinson, brothers Inman and Benjamin Steagall, sister Leilani Wagner and two grandchildren.

Her parents, daughter Rhonda Gaspen, siblings Hayden and Alma Steagall, preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville. Calling will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.
