Lending A Hand

Friday, January 10, 2014

Recently, 14 Humane Society volunteers and 11 DePauw University football players along with assistant coach Matt Nelson helped move the Humane Society of Putnam County's store, Rescued Treasures, to its new location at 1021 Indianapolis Rd. More than 5500 square feet of furnishings and inventory were moved, filling a moving van four times. "We couldn't have done it without the football players," Lynn Bohmer said. "Although our volunteers worked hard, we needed the strength and energy of young athletes to accomplish the move in short order."
