First Legislative Update of 2014 set for 8 a.m. Saturday

Two upcoming Legislative Update programs will be sponsored by Putnam County Farm Bureau Inc. during the 2014 session of the Indiana General Assembly.

The first Legislative Update program of the 2014 session will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 in the Greencastle Farm Bureau boardroom, 1001 N. Jackson St.

District 44 State Rep. Jim Baird (R-Greencastle) and State Sens. Pete Miller (R-Avon) and Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) are expected to join in a discussion of the current legislation being discussed at the Indiana Statehouse.

The public is invited to attend. Coffee and rolls are provided.

A second Legislative Update session is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 8 a.m.
