Turkey Run Inn employee arrested on theft charges

More than $5,000 worth of stolen items have been recovered recently at the Marshall home of Lesa Bilskie, an employee of the Turkey Run State Park Inn.

MARSHALL -- Indiana Conservation Officers have arrested a Parke County resident for numerous thefts reported at Turkey Run State Park.

Conservation officers report conducting an investigation which resulted in the seizure of thousands of items that were stolen over a period of several years.

Lesa Bilskie, 50, an employee at the Turkey Run Inn, was arrested on Friday on a charge of theft, a Class D felony.

The investigation began in regard to missing items from the Turkey Run Inn and camp store. Most of the items stolen were merchandise and camping equipment.

A search warrant was issued for Bilskie's home where property valued in excess of $5,000 was recovered.
