Betty V. Burdine

Betty V. Burdine, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away on Jan. 24, 2014.

She was born on March 5, 1924, daughter of the late Elmer and Mary Jacobs.

Betty was a member of Westside Nazarene Church, and later attended Bethany Wesleyan.

She was a Pacers fan, enjoyed embroidery, and some needlepoint, and western movies.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Donna (Tom) Alford, and Rebecca (Jeff) Mendenhall; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29 at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30 at the funeral home.

Betty will be laid to rest in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Glenns Valley.
