'Laps for Life'

The Greencastle High School Swim and Dive Team have chosen the American Cancer Society for its philanthropy this season. The varsity swimmers made a much more meaningful Saturday practice as the athletes participated in the second annual "Laps for Life" lap-a-thon event. Each section of practice was dedicated to people in their lives who had been diagnosed with cancer. A Ribbon of Hope was formed in the pool as a tribute to the cause by the swimmers and coach Kent Menzel.
