The candidate says his goal is to represent Putnam County "with financial stability, honesty and the integrity to stand up for what is fair and the right thing to do."

"As your current county commissioner of the 2nd District (since September 2013)," Watts said he "continues to learn while listening to all concerns and making sound judgments while demonstrating the ability to recognize management problems and develop solutions."

Watts said he also has become "aware of the time it will take to be the best he can be," and said he is willing to "dedicate his time on behalf of this county."

A graduate of South Putnam High School, Watts is a graduate of Command General Staff College with an associate degree in business.

Married to wife Marty for 40 years, they have one son, Shaun, a daughter-in-law, Adrienne, and two granddaughters, Clara and Mia.
