An 18-year-old Putnam County man is facing two felony charges in connection with an alleged sexual misconduct incident involving juvenile boys.

Indiana State Police officials Sunday reported that an investigation by the Putnam County Department of Child Services and the ISP Bureau of Criminal Investigation alleges that Taylor Thornell, of Coatesville, "committed crimes of a sexual nature" against an unspecified number of juvenile boys.

As a result of that investigation, Thornell is being charged with sexual misconduct with a minor, a Class C felony, and distribution of matter harmful to a minor, a Class D felony.

The investigation revealed probable cause, ISP officials said, to believe that Thornell engaged in sexual acts with the juvenile boys and also sent a self-made unclothed photograph of himself to the juveniles via social media.
