Paul Curtis Muns

Paul Curtis Muns, 61, of Poland, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Methodist Hospital following a brief illness.

Paul was born in Indianapolis, on Dec. 18, 1952, the son of Thomas and Andreé (Vetier) Muns.

He graduated from Roncalli High School and later attended Ivy Tech where he earned degrees in auto and diesel mechanics and heating and air.

Paul had worked as a journeyman electrician and building maintenance technician at Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, and most recently had been working at IAC in Greencastle.

In his free time Paul enjoyed camping, cooking, gardening, teaching his kids, watching cartoons, working on crafts and "tinkering."

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Muns; a sister, Janine Middleton; and brothers-in-law Donald Middleton and Tom Faulkner.

He is survived by his mother, Andreé Muns of Indianapolis; his wife, Jill Muns of Poland; children, Dawn Muns of Mooresville, John Muns of Poland, Amanda Keen and husband Ricky of Mooresville, and Charlotte Muns of Poland; two grandchildren, Paul Holtzclaw and Trinity Keen; a brother David Muns; and a sister, Susie Faulkner, as well as several extended family members.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at French Funeral Home, Brazil, on Thursday, March 13 from 11a.m. until 1 p.m. A time of remembrance will be held from 1-2 p.m. where the public is encouraged to share memories of Paul.
