County Jail

A number of people were booked into the Putnam County Sheriff's Department recently.

* At 2 p.m. Friday, Landon James Patterson, 22, Greencastle, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

At 6:30 p.m. Sean Patrick McClamroch, 34, Waveland, was charged with nonsupport of a dependent.

At 9:47 p.m. James Franklin Day Jr., 23, Greencastle, was held at the jail for possession of marijuana.

At 10:40 p.m. Matthew Gibson Kennedy, 31, Coates-ville, was booked in for two counts of possession of paraphernalia and possession of a syringe.

* At 1:05 a.m. Saturday, Matthew Phillip Knetchel-Bernath, 21, Ottawa Lake, Mich., was arrested for public intoxication.

At 1:10 a.m. Scott Alan Tucker, 19, Maumee, Ohio, was charged with public intoxication.

At 7:30 a.m. James Garrett Turpin, 26, Cloverdale, was held at the jail for operating while intoxicated.

At 9:30 a.m. Christopher Lee Pate, 30, Greencastle, was booked in for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

At 1:40 p.m. Keven Dale Crowe, 22, Coatesville, was arrested for probation violation and possession of marijuana.

* At 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, Joseph Allen Hagan, 24, Indianapolis, was held at the jail for theft, possession of methamphetamine and operating having never received a license.

At 1:40 p.m. William Stanley Vesko, 44, Fillmore, was charged with domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of a crime.

* At 3:30 a.m. Monday, Ryan James Mauro, 19, Wexford, Pa., was booked in for operating while intoxicated and public intoxication.

At 12 p.m. Eric James Stewart, 34, Ladoga, was arrested for nonsupport of a dependent.

At 12 p.m. Nicole Jocelyn Hall, 35, Crawfordsville, was charged with two counts of nonsupport of dependents.

City Police

Two Putnam County minors were arrested early Tuesday by Greencastle City Police officers.

Officer Nick Eastham was called to an Avenue E residence on a noise complaint at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday and ended up arresting two suspects for being minors in consumption of alcohol.

In addition to the alcohol charge, Autumn Wade, 19, Reelsville, was also lodged in the Putnam County Jail on a pair of outstanding Putnam County warrants. Under portable breathalyzer testing, she registered a blood-alcohol content of .07 percent.

Also arrested for being a minor in consumption of alcohol was Matthew Cliburn, 19, Greencastle. Under portable breathalyzer testing, he registered a blood-alcohol content of .09 percent.

Sheriff's Department

One recent property-damage accident was investigated by the Putnam County Sheriff's Department.

At 6:47 a.m. on Saturday, Jason R. Kelly, 31, Rockville, was eastbound on U.S. 36, just entering Bainbridge in a 200 Chevrolet Silverado.

Kelly told Deputy Matt Biggs he was tired and ran off the south side of the road. Due to the soggy ground, he was unable to correct before hitting a sign post.

Kelly was uninjured and the truck was drivable. Damage was estimated at $2,501-$5,000.
