PCH cancer support group meetings in full swing

Sunday, March 16, 2014

With the winter weather hopefully on its way out, the Putnam County Hospital Cancer Center is holding its cancer support group meetings on a monthly basis again.

The support group meets every third Tuesday of the month from 4-5 p.m. in the cancer center lobby, which is located on the second floor of PCH.

The cancer support group is a way for those who are battling cancer, have survived cancer, or for those loved ones who have been affected by cancer to discuss and interact with others who can relate on a personal level.

A nurse from the Cancer Center is also present to give medical insight and support.

Anyone who has any questions about the support group or the cancer center at Putnam County Hospital may call 655-2581.
