Jay W. Mink

Jay W. Mink, 75, Roachdale, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 at his residence.

He was born Aug. 27, 1938 in Pulaski County, Somerset, Ky., to William and Eva Mink.

He was the father of eight children, Hascal and wife Patricia, Michael and wife Susan, Anita, Linda, Jay W. Jr., Eric and wife Angela, Jason, Brooke and husband Angel.

His children gave him 20 grandchildren to love and those giving him several great-grandchildren to adore.

He is survived by his younger siblings, Phyllis Reed and Bill Mink and wife Mary.

After his Lord, the love of music was in his blood, he had a talent that couldn't be taught. Cars were a passion for him; he loved to drive, work on and just be around them.

Most of all what kept him together was his wife of 35 years, Mary Ann Mink. Through good, bad, sick, and in health, they stayed strong and were together until his last second here on earth.

May you rest in peace now. You're missed and loved dearly and we will see you again.
