Franklin 'Frank' Hensley

Franklin "Frank" Hensley, 80, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014.

He was born Feb. 20, 1934 in Hazard, Ky., the son of Levi and Isabelle Hensley.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Delores Hensley; his daughter, Tara Rana Hensley; and eight brothers.

Frank is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Gary Elmore; his grandson, Carl Elmore; his siblings and their spouses, Earl Hensley, Virginia Coffee, Betty and Mitchell Hoskins, and Bill and Mae Hensley; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Linda and David Gordon, and Patricia and Chuck Winer; and many special nieces and nephews and a host of good friends.

Frank owned and operated C & H Upholstery for 36 years.

He loved his family and was a wonderful husband, father, brother and uncle.

Frank also enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and golfing.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 1 at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time.

Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
