David L. Wittenmyer, 75, of Marshall, Ind., passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 in his residence surrounded by his family.

He served in the United States Marine Corps. He was assistant pressman at R.R. Donnelley & Sons in Crawfordsville with 43 years of service.

He was born Oct. 9, 1938 in Montezuma, Ind., to the late Raymond Wittenmyer and Irene Abernathy Wittenmyer.

His wife of 44 years, Connie Adair Wittenmyer, whom he married on May 23, 1969 in Crawfordsville, survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Yvonne (Bob) Biddle of Milligan, and Ramona Thompson of Crawfordsville; one son, David A. (Sondra) Wittenmyer of Veedersburg; one sister, Barbara Jackson of Rockville; one brother, Bill Wittenmyer of Mt. Horeb, Wis.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Thelma Jackman.

He enjoyed riding horses, fishing and loved his family.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 8 in Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St., Rockville, with Rev. Don Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Bloomingdale Friends Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday at Gooch Funeral Home.
