#11 Tigers Tennis Finish Second at Midwest Invitational after Loss to #10 Bears

Madison, Wis. - DePauw and Washington University split their two previous matches this season, but today it was the 10th-ranked Bears taking a 7-2 win over 11th-ranked DePauw for the Midwest Invitational title.

The Bears swept doubles play with DePauw picking up its wins at fourth and fifth singles. Meg Crowley was a 6-2, 6-3 winner over Theresa Petraskova af the fourth spot, while Caroline Emhardt collected a 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (10-8) win at number five.

DePauw returns to action on Saturday, April 19, when it hosts Denison in a 10 a.m. North Coast Athletic Conference match.
