The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. sharp Saturday with more than 7,000 prize- or candy-filled Easter eggs laid throughout five different hunting areas in the park.

Youngsters ages 1-2 will hunt in the central circle, while those ages 3-4 and 5-6 years will hunt on the softball field.

Children age 7-8 will hunt northeast of the maintenance/administration building, while the historic Daughters of the American Revolution log cabin will serve as the starting line for youth ages 9-11.

Youngsters will also have a chance to win great prizes by redeeming tickets found in various eggs.
