Edward Dean Clodfelter

Edward Dean Clodfelter, 63, of Greencastle, passed away on April 6, 2014.

Dean was born on Jan. 11, 1951 in Greencastle to Fred Clodfelter and Mildred Gorham Clodfelter.

He was a graduate of Greencastle High School and had been employed as a bricklayer with Max Watts Masonry.

Dean was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose 1592 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4388.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are his daughter, Erica Clodfelter and significant other Seth Collins III; three grandchildren, Chance Evens, Noah Underwood and Lyric Chambers; two sisters, Jean Stevens and Barbara Alexander and husband Butch; a brother, Freddy Clodfelter and wife Sherry; and a special friend, Edna Shamel.

A memorial service will celebrate Dean's life on Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Herman Gorham officiating.

Inurnment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
