John Merle Durham Sr.

John Merle Durham Sr., 56, of Greenwood, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital Indianapolis.

He was born April 24, 1957 in Greencastle. He was the son of the late William Carl Durham and Mary Helen (Paris) Delacruz.

He is survived by his children, John Durham Jr., Indianapolis, Anthony Durham, Indianapolis, Shaun Durham, Dallas, Brittany Durham, Dallas; five grandchildren; sisters Mary Lou Overstreet, Greenwood, and Patricia Browning, Indianapolis; and brother James Durham of California.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, JoAnne Bosc.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, April 21 at Mannan Cemetery, Cloverdale, following visitation from 10-11 a.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.
