Norman Lee Hutcheson

Norman Lee Hutcheson, 75, Nokomis, Ill., died at 10:38 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Pana Community Hospital in Nokomis.

Born June 19, 1938 in Putnam County, he was the son of Claude and Mary Olive (Hamilton) Hutcheson.

He married Linda Barnstable, and she survives.

A heavy equipment operator, he was a member of the Pentecostal church.

Also surviving are a daughter, Paula June (Jeff) Workman, Mooresville; a son, Norman L. (Melody) Hutcheson Jr., Greenwood.; four stepchildren, Sandra (Robin) McBride, Scott (Brenda) Bradley, Sonya (Tony) Maretti and Steve (Donna) Bradley; three grandchildren, Heather Barry, Jeremy Workman and Felicia Bruner; a brother, Ralph (Marty) Hutcheson, Indianapolis; two sisters, Ruth Ann (Larry) Wells, Fairfield, Ohio, and Ellen (Larry) Beck, Lexington, N.C.; 13 stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Frank.

Services were conducted April 9 at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis, Ill. Bishop Tom Suey of Christ Tabernacle officiated.

Graveside services were conducted April 10 at Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery outside Greencastle.
