CLOVERDALE -- Indiana State Police officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning at the westbound exit ramp of Interstate 70/U.S. 231 interchange in Cloverdale.

There were no injuries reported in the 10:06 a.m. accident.

Preliminary investigation by Master Trooper DuJuan Pressley-McFadden revealed a 2012 Chevrolet pickup, driven by Ginny Sue Gregory, 52, of Cedar Hill, Mo., was exiting I-70 when her vehicle struck a 2005 GMC pickup in the rear at the U.S. 231 stoplight.

The truck was driven by Monte L. McCorkle, 35, of Chesterfield, Ind.

During the crash investigation, Trooper Pressley-McFadden found Gregory in possession of marijuana under 30 grams as well as being wanted on a warrant from Jefferson County, Mo.

The Missouri warrant was issued on one felony and two misdemeanor charges "for dangerous drug violations," Indiana State Police at Putnamville reported.

Gregory also now faces Indiana charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

She was incarcerated at the Putnam County Jail awaiting an initial hearing on Indiana charges and extradition on the Missouri counts.
