Elleventh ranked DePauw Tigers advance to NCAC Semifinals, play Kenyon next

GRANVILLE, Ohio - DePauw lost just two games in the five matches and claimed a 5-0 win over Wittenberg in the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals.

The 11th-ranked Tigers improved to 16-4, while Wittenberg dropped to 6-10. DePauw faces Kenyon in Saturday's 1 p.m. semifinal match.

Meg Crowley and Claire Marshall posted an 8-0 win at second doubles over Jaimie Whaley and Lexi Garza before the third doubles tandem of Julie Wittwer and Kaitlin Pickrel topped Morgan McDermott and Andrea Gaietto 8-1. The first doubles duo of Caroline Emhardt and Maggie MacPhail rounded out the doubles sweep with an 8-1 victory over Olivia Underwood and Chelsea Reeder.

Marshall and MacPhail finished the match with a pair of 6-0, 6-0 wins over Reeder and Underwood at second and first singles, respectively.
