Greencastle baseball can't muster up win

On Monday the Tiger Cub baseball team visited Cascade. They lost a close match 5-4. Seth Brown pitched six innings giving up five runs on six hits with four errors, nine strike outs and two hit batters.

Tanner Nicholson went 4-for-4 scoring two runs, Seth Brown had a double and a single, Holden King and Jonathan Newgent each had one hit. Trey Scanland had a sac fly.

The second game of the doubleheader didn't bode well for Greencastle either. On Tuesday hey lost the second game to Cascade, 5-1. Tanner Nicholson pitched three innings giving up three runs on one hit, three strike outs, four walks and three errors. Brant Mangrum pitched one inning giving up no runs and no hits. Seth Brown pitched two innings giving up two runs on three hits, two strike outs, two walks and one hit batter. Kaleb Fleming pitched one inning giving up no runs and no hits. Tanner Nicholson had one double and one single and Brant Mangrum and one single.
