Nikki Valorani, 66, of Danville, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014.

She was born Jan. 23, 1948 in Muncie, the daughter of Frank and Kathryn Sullivan Nickell.

She was the owner of the Red Horse Livery in Coatesville, an artist, painter and avid horsewoman.

She raised horses for 32 years in Florida, Canada and Indiana. She had traveled the world.

She co-chaired the Coatesville Revitalization Committee and was a dedicated supporter of the Food Pantry in Coatesville.

She was a much loved and very warm woman.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry; a son, Joseph (Michelle) Valorani, Avon; a granddaughter, Kathryn Valorani, Avon; a brother, Ted Nickell, Oregon; her mother-in-law, Nancy Valorani, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Phil Nickell.

Memorial services will be conducted in May with the time, date and place to be published later.

Contributions may be made to the Coatesville Revitalization Committee.
