Summerfield Health Campus Cloverdale Social Service Director Nadine Davenport (center) receives the Great Lakes Caring Hospice and Home Health Social Work Essential Piece Award. Davenport was selected from more than 18,000 candidates. She was one of 107 social workers in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana chosen for three reasons: Her belief in the importance of effective communication between Great Lakes Caring and her facility's staff; being mindful of the needs of residents and the importance of making timely referrals; and for support and understanding of the importance of collaborative care.
