Greencastle's golf team came out on top in its Tiger Cub Invitational Saturday. With a score of 320 they beat out Rockville (365) , Southmont (370) and South Vermillon, (385).

Luke Brotherton was the medalist with a 74 and Alec Davis was secondwith a 78.

This was Greencastle's second tournament win of the season. The first coming at the Mustang Invitational on April 19.

"The weather, mainly the wind made play difficult at Windy Hill Country Club and affected all the teams in the tournament," Greencastle's coach Stephen Paquin said. "The Cubs playing on their home course are used to the windy conditions and were more consistent than the other teams. Club selection and distance control is still a concern for the Cubs; hopefully the weather will improve and they will be able to practice on these weaknesses."

Brotherton has now won three of the last four Tiger Cub Invitationals. Tanner Dean won last year with a 76.
