Banner Graphic: Why is basketball your favorite sport?

Bailee Stevens: I've had a ball in my hand since I was in diapers. Dad used to always take me up to the gym to play.

BG: What is your favorite thing about track and field?

BS: I love the adrenaline rush you get right before the race starts.

BG: Who has had the biggest influence on you in your life and in sports?

BS: In sports, Craig my older brother. My biggest role model is Emma Rich, my youth pastor.

BG: What has been your favorite high school memory?

BS:That's a hard one. Probably winning the 4x4 last year at county. We were the underdogs. We weren't expected to win and we came back to beat Greencastle.

BG: What has been the biggest lesson you've learned from sports?

BS: It's a mental sport. It teaches you to push past a personal stuggle or any obstacle in your way.

BG: What are your plans for after high school?

BS: I don't know where I want to go to college but I know I want to study marine biology and more particularly I want to study great white sharks. I've been interested in marine bio since I was like 10 I just got my scuba diving liscense last year.
