County Jail

Three people were booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

* At 1:40 p.m. on Thursday, David Andrew Whitehead, 29, Greencastle, was arrested for theft and burglary.

* At 1:17 a.m. on Friday, William Hayden Leonard, 19, Quincy, was arrested for robbery and possession of paraphernalia.

At 2:36 a.m., Dwayne Arthur Doolin, 26, Greencastle, was arrested for robbery and possession of paraphernalia.

City Police

One recent traffic citation was issued by Greencastle City Police.

-- At 9:40 p.m. Thursday, Chad Slavens, 38, New Market, was stopped at Shadowlawn and North College avenues by Officer Nick Eastham for having an expired license plate (October 2013).
