Virginia Bundy Neier

Virginia Bundy Neier, 89, of Greencastle, died on Saturday, May 31, 2014.

Virginia was one of the first babies born at the "new" Putnam County Hospital on July 8, 1924.

She was a graduate of Greencastle High School and attended DePauw University. She was a member of Gobin Memorial Methodist Church, Tri Kappa, Kappa Alpha Theta and Epsilon Sigma Alpha.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother.

Her survivors include daughters Heather Neier and Bobby Snoddy of Howardsville, Va., and Hollis Neier and Ray Zender of Burnet, Texas; granddaughters Abigail Zender of Santa Fe, N.M., Brenda and Tim Repard and family of Liberty Hill, Texas, and Becky and Steve Barry and family of Wilson, N.C.; and brother Frank Bundy.

There will be no funeral or visitation. A graveside service for immediate family will take place at future date.
