Sherman W. and Juanita (Salsman) Hacker of Belle Union are celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary.

The children of Thomas Sherman and Alberta Hacker and Kenneth and Lola Salsman, they began their lives together June 13, 1964 at Union Valley Baptist Church in Belle Union.

Sherman and Juanita enjoy traveling, raising cattle, spending time with family and supporting all of the endeavors of their grandchildren.

They have three children; sons, Wesley and wife Nicole and Aaron and wife Tina, and daughter, Julie and husband Scott. Special blessings include their grandchildren, Lane, Parker and Bailey Hacker.

We are increasingly grateful for the amazing example they have been to us as individuals, parents, grandparents as a married couple. Growing up in their home, with their example significantly influenced our childhood years and has enhanced our adult and family values.

Always showing the highest respect for one another, we were blessed to experience their strong relationship together of mutual support and committed love. We honor them during this celebratory season in their journey.

Dad and Mom, we love you and are blessed by your lives and the character of your heart for each other and your commitment to providing the foundation for our families for years to come. Happy 50th anniversary.
