Mary Ilene O'Hair

Mary Ilene O'Hair, 84, of Greencastle, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014.

Mary was born Nov. 26, 1929 in Sullivan, Ind., to Kenneth and Lily Edmondson who preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by stepson Douglas O'Hair, grandson Justin O'Hair; and great-granddaughters Emmalee Gilbert and Jaded O'Hair.

She married Gale O'Hair on Aug. 3, 1989, and he survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Cheryl Morin of Greencastle, Paula (Mike) Wilson of Jasonville, and Kathy Skidmore of Punta Gorda, Fla.; stepchildren Michael (Sharon) O'Hair of Kokomo, Marilyn (Steve) Winters of Rockville, Dennis (Janet) O'Hair of Greencastle, and Brian (Tami) O'Hair of Coatesville, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary attended Shelburn High School and also worked as director of the Senior Center in Greencastle.

Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greencastle.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 12 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Paul Bowen officiating.

Interment will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Little Flock Cemetery, Shelburn.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 11 at the funeral home
