Ashley Ross earns 2014 Putnam Retired Teachers Scholarship

The Putnam County Retired Teachers Association has announced that Ashley Ross has been awarded the 2014 annual Putnam County Retired Teachers Scholarship.

This award is granted to an individual who graduated from a Putnam County high school and is a student enrolled in an Indiana college undergraduate program that will result in a degree in education.

Ross graduated from South Putnam High School and received her associate's degree from Ivy Tech.

She is completing her degree in education at St. Mary of the Woods.

In addition to being a student, Ross has been employed by Little Lamb's Daycare in Reelsville and is currently employed by Round Barn Daycare.

She has done field placements at New Pathways in Greencastle and at Cloverdale Elementary School.

She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, an honors sorority, a distinction granted to her due to her high grade-point average.
