Chamber quarterly luncheon set for Red Barn Farms

Saturday, June 28, 2014

The Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce quarterly luncheon is set for noon on Thursday, July 10 at Red Barn Farms.

The luncheon will include a tour of the farm as well as a box lunch from Myers Market.

Red Barn Farms is a family-run farm with a mission to provide healthy food choices for families. The goal is to eat well in order to live well.

Red Barn Farms offers naturally raised pork, beef, chicken, turkey, eggs and vegetables.

Owners Tom and Kathryn Holton believe that people should make educated decisions about the food they put into their bodies, so they invite the community to take this opportunity to see how the animals live and let them explain the healthy benefits of eating local food that was grown without the use of chemicals, growth hormones, antibiotics and byproducts.

Cost is $15 per person. To sign up for the event, contact the Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce at gchamber@gogreencastle.com or 653-4517.
