Live music at Robe-Ann Park to help celebrate Fourth of July
Seven musical acts of live entertainment will take the stage at the Bob Flanigan Bandshell in Robe-Ann Park as part of the Independence Day celebration on Friday, July 4.
The Blues Side Up band will be the headliner of the event.
The complete list of performances for Friday, July 4 are:
-- Carly Rhine, singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist from Greencastle, performing original music as well as covers, including songs from the 1960s to today's hits, noon.
-- Rockology School, 12:45 p.m.
-- Mongrel Dogs, famous for their soul-billy music of blue-infused rock and country, 2:15 p.m.
-- 2013 Putnam County Star Melissa Claycomb, 3:15 p.m.
-- Dance Workshop, 4 p.m.
-- Gus Moon/Anthony Mullis, Greencastle vocalist and local audience favorite, 5 p.m.
-- 800-lb. Gorilla, a college rock jam band uniting guitar, keyboards and saxophone with a tight rhythm section, topped off with strong vocal harmony, 6 p.m.
-- Carly Rhine, the Greencastle native returns to the stage to give crowd a hint of her first full-length album due out the end of this summer, 7:45 p.m.
-- Blues Side Up with Steve St. Pierre, Steve Michael, Jonathan January and Mark Minnick, blues/ R&B/rock, 8:30 p.m.
