WynWay Technologies, a locally owned technology consulting company, recently celebrated the grand opening of its new office at 122 E. Washington St. with a July 1 ribbon cutting and open house.

WynWay has experienced rapid growth in the past year and is expanding in order to meet the needs of Greencastle.

The company began in November as the merger of three businesses started by DePauw students that trace its roots back as far as 2009.

With several other fellow students in tow, the businesses opened last fall at 107 E. Washington St., Suite B, but room quickly ran out.

Managing partner George Velazquez said the move across the street to the building immediately east of the Greencastle Masonic Temple will facilitate the growing business and provide plenty of room for the workshops WynWay provides for technology training.

"We're seeing demand increasing and we're really wanting to provide to the community," Velazquez said.

WynWay Technologies can be reached at support@wynway.com or 877-949-9644.

Additionally, in honor of its new location, WynWay will be offering special rates on repairs to new customers each day July 7-11.
